Mrs. Sene Harry speaks on how she feels being the winner of the Star Prize in TheNEWS’ 15th Anniversary raffle drawQ: Congrats for winning TheNEWS Magazine’s Star Prize?
A: I am very, very happy. In fact, when I got the news that I had won, I did not know where I was. I give thanks to God.
Q: Tell us more about yourself?
A: I am a cleaner at Civil Centre, Port Harcourt
Q: Will you continue to do the job after winning our star prize?
A: Why not? I will continue. What I will do is to continue buying TheNEWS and tell people that it is real
Q: The first time you heard that you’ve won the star prize car, how did you feel inside you?
A: I can not actually explain it. I had not priced a motorcycle or bicycle before in my life, not to talk of having a car. So you can imagine how excited I was. I had not even been in Lagos all my life. This is the first time. I am very happy.
Q: So how do you intend to use the car?
A: It will be for my private use
Q: How long have you been reading TheNEWS?
A: A long time! My son buys it every week. He had been playing raffle on my behalf, but we thank God that our effort this time around has not been in vain. And henceforth, even if TheNEWS is being sold for N500, I will continue to buy it. Maybe I can win a house.
Q: What message do you have for the publishers of TheNEWS?
A: I pray God grants them long life… and anybody working there. I am actually short of words.
